Cuore Di Gelato
Cuore di Gelato, translating as ‘Heart of Gelato was born from Daniele’s dream to offer true artisan Italian gelato and sorbet, handmade completely from scratch, using only the best natural ingredients.
We use local produce whenever possible, fresh milk, cream and fruit, and we follow the seasons to offer you an ever-changing gelato experience. We DO NOT use any ready-made powders, hydrogenated fats, artificial colourants or artificial flavourings.
Our philosophy is simple - we only use real ingredients in keeping with true Italian artisan gelato making tradition.
Almost all of our gelatos are made gluten free, and we offer a range of dairy free and vegan options.
Our gelatos are handmade in small batches and each individual flavour follows a recipe which has been created and perfectly balanced by the Cuore di Gelato team.
Daniele's gelato training took place in Auckland and also in Italy.
Cuore di Gelato is family run and Daniele’s wife Jennifer works alongside him, at the heart of all operations. Daniele’s daughters Ilaria and Lucia are also part of the family team, helping out at busy events.
